TOP RIDE AT TOP RYDE
ThyssenKrupp Elevator Australia have proudly been awarded the vertical transportation installation for the “Top Ryde Shopping Centre Development” in conjunction with Bovis Lend Lease.
The Top Ryde Shopping Centre Redevelopment will be a 130,000 m² mixed use development comprising retail, community, entertainment, commercial and residential uses.
Stage 1 of the Redevelopment is valued at over $440 million and will consist of a 78,000 m² shopping centre and entertainment precinct which is planned for completion in 2010, with major tenants already on board such as Myer, Big W, Woolworths, Franklins, Aldi, JB Hi-Fi, Dick Smith, pharmacies and newsagents.
Stage 1 of this mammoth project will contain 1 x TE-HP51 elevator, 7 x TE-BC61 elevators and 9 x TE-MC3 elevators (4 of which will be glass); 1 x Orinoco moving walk and 14 x Velino escalators - for a total project value in excess of $10 million. With another 32 units to be added with the commencement of Stage 2.
