The solution: A lift of her own
Her son Chris calmed her down: "Don’t worry Mom, I’ve got an idea...."
Big surprise! As Julia came back home she nearly couldn’t believe her eyes: Chris really had built in a space saving ThyssenKrupp Stairlift. Life could go on as before. Each of the two families has its own apartment where she can live undisturbed. At first Chris had considered a "real" lift, but the Stairlift could be installed much quicker.
Now Julia can leave her 2nd floor apartment each day to go shopping or have a chat at the bakery – without being dependent on other people. Even with her shopping bag she can go upstairs or bring the garbage downstairs.
Maybe later on a home elevator shall be installed at the outside of the house. They already have an offer – also from ThyssenKrupp.
